Stand for Something.
Operating an environmentally conscious business
We believe that it is our responsibility to limit the negative impact we have on our environment, both locally and globally. We live this ideal in the following ways:
Reduce – Reuse – Recycle
Limit single-use plastics and paper
Install high-efficiency A/C units and water flow restrictors.
Education and Awareness: With the help of our community partners, both from academia and the City of Dallas, we host forums where our customers and business partners can learn more about efforts they can take to limit their environmental impact.
Supporting our Community Partners:
We believe that it is our responsibility to offer support to those in our community that are trying to make positive changes. We live this ideal in the following ways:
Mondays for The People: Although we are closed to the public every Monday, we do open for non-profit organizations that need space to meet and host events. For these groups, we waive our normal private event fees and donate 15% of all proceeds back to the organization.
The Dallas Red Foundation – HIV/AIDS Awareness
Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development
Autism Treatment Center
Genesis Women’s Shelter
Human Right’s Day DFW
We believe that it is our responsibility to offer a venue for people to get involved in the political process: We live this ideal in the following ways:
Host politically-themed events, including Election Night Watch parties and Debate Viewing Parties for federal, state, and local elections.
Host venue for political candidates for local office and congressional seats.
Offer support for city and state ordinances that we benefit our community members, including Earned Paid Sick Leave
